We expect the grounds to be treated in an appropriate manner consistent with the rules which apply during school time. A benefit to the school of school families using the school grounds is the minimisation of vandalism. If you do see anything of this nature, please notify the police.
Play in the school grounds is not supervised after 3.15pm and therefore parents must accept full responsibility for their own children at these times. Children must be within sight of their parent or caregiver and supervised at all times.Â
The After School Care Programme only accepts responsibility for the children who are booked into the programme and has priority use of the school play areas.
At times After School classes are run by outside providers e.g., art, music, languages, sport - the tutors of these programmes only accept responsibility for the supervision of their enrolled students from the time the course is due to start and up to the stated finishing time. The school accepts no responsibility for monitoring these children after 3.15pm.
Dogs are not permitted on the school grounds or to be tied up alone outside the school gates.
